I was keeping my eye out for some flannel plaid shirts last fall because I think it looks so cozy and can be dressed up to be quite chic. I didn’t end up finding any flannel that I loved, but I happened upon this printed plaid chiffon top and thought it could be kinda preppy and “All American.” It’s taken me a long time to get around to wearing it because I was too excited about the printed plaid on chiffon to realize that it was a high-low hem. It’s a trend I’m not totally on board with right now, but actually, once I finally got around to styling it into an outfit I realized I’m lovin it. I couldn’t decide if I liked it better belted or not so I threw in a few pictures without the belt but now that can take a look at it both ways, I think the belt polishes off the look.
But what excites me the most about this post is the navy blue polish on my digits! I’ve been looking near and far for the right shade of navy and I finally found it, believe it or not, at Walmart (I don’t like Walmart but it’s right across the street from my work and it’s too convenient!) while I was grocery shopping. Hallelujah! It’s by Revlon, it’s call So Urban. I love it. Go get it.
