I’m not a tee shirt and jeans kind of girl, I’m just not. I know most girls are and that’s wonderful. For me personally I feel like, in general, tee shirts don’t have enough interest or design. There’s nothing to them! I exercise in them, sleep in them, and clean the house in them and that’s it. I just don’t feel right in them, they’re too casual. But I realize that there are plenty of occasions in life that don’t call for dresses and high heels so it’s been a design/style challenge of mine to put together a tee shirt and jeans outfit that still allows me to feel like I got ready for the day. I understand there are MANY more important things in this world and that what I wear is of no consequence to anyone else, but I believe 100% in the significance of self-presentation. I know for a fact that what you wear influences how you behave, how others react to you, and most importantly, how you feel. So without further ado, here it is! My tee shirt and jeans ensemble!! I feel like the baby orange stripes and the floral skinny belt is such an amusing combo. The cardigan is simple and classic, and the bangles pull in colors from the belt. I’m satisfied and still not too dressed up- a question that’s been haunting me my whole life. “Why are you so dressed up, Kaitlin?”- Sheesh.
P.S. If you are a jeans and tee shirt kind of girl and you’re reading this, I say “Rock on!” Wear whatever makes you feel the most “you.”

This looks like something I might wear 🙂
But hey, sometimes I wish I had more things to dress up for!
I know Sherwink, this is totally your kind of outfit! Maybe I should tag “Sharon’s Style”.
